Broncos find their left tackle in first round of NFL draft

The 6-5, 298-pound Bolles gives the Broncos their foundation at the left tackle position. "Though he is more of a grappler than a technician at this point, Bolles appears to possess long enough arms to remain on the outside at tackle in the National Football League and he certainly has the feet and nastiness scouts are looking for", CBS Sports' Rob Rang wrote. Bolles, who brought his infant son with him on stage Thursday night and draped the boy in a Broncos jersey, will turn 25 in late May and will join a Broncos roster a rookie older than many of his teammates.

Bolles went No. 20 overall, in a draft considered weak in offensive line prospects. "One day he's going to be walking the stairs too, wherever the draft is, he's going to be there".

"I love Colorado", Bolles told BSN Denver in March.

Garett Bolles' NFL dream is coming true.

Bolles, 24, is older than the other first-round picks, as he spent two years on a Mormon mission.

At the Combine, Bolles said he wants to "put people in the dirt" when he's on the field. "He was the most athletic tackle in the draft & plays w/toughness!" Nevertheless, he earned an All-Pac 12 conference selection for the Utes in his only season with the team.

Bolles hoped that the moment would be a source of inspiration for his young son.

According to BSN Denver's Andre Simone, this is how Bolles fits in Denver.
