Bill Cosby faces retrial on sexual assault charges

The judge in the sexual assault case of comedian Bill Cosby has declared a mistrial. The jury deliberated more than 52 hours over six days before telling a judge they couldn't agree on whether "The Cosby Show" star sexually violated Temple University employee Andrea Constand after giving her pills that left her woozy and unable to say no or fight back. Only one was allowed to testify in the Constand case. Cosby has denied all their claims.

On Thursday, after more than 30 hours of deliberations, the members of the jury told the judge they were deadlocked and could not reach a unanimous consensus. Constand, now 44, initially went to police about a year after she said Cosby assaulted her, but a prosecutor declared her case too weak to bring charges.

Cosby will remain free on $1 million bail.

When asked about Cosby's statement during a press conference, Montgomery County, PA District Attorney Kevin Steele responded, "I'm not going to talk about Camille Cosby". "We wanted an acquittal, but like the Rolling Stones song says, you can't always get what you want; sometimes you get what you need".

But that wasn't what made the biggest news in the aftermath of the mistrial - the story centered on Bill Cosby's wife Camille.

Camille Cosby is now receiving plenty of backlash on Twitter after the wife of Bill Cosby had her statement posted to Bill's Twitter account in the wake of his mistrial.

"Bill Cosby has already been exposed as a predator who hid behind his jovial mask for more than 50 years and no jury verdict will ever change that", she posted on Facebook.
