Aaron Carter slams brother Backstreet Boys star Nick after DUI arrest

Aaron Carter mug shot

Aaron Carter is angry his DUI arrest has sparked speculation he may be on hard drugs.

Aaron Carter cried as he explained his recent DUI arrest in a freaky interview with ET on Tuesday, and the singer claimed he doesn't drink or do drugs, despite persistent addiction rumors.

Nick taking to Twitter - instead of reaching out directly to his little brother - didn't help matters. "I love my family despite it through thick and thin", Aaron responded via social media.

He noted that he does not need help but he needs people to understand that he is still human and that he makes mistakes just like everyone else. I don't need that.

Aaron is adamant he doesn't need professional help - he just wants the Internet trolls who have been poking fun about his gaunt look of late to leave him alone. He added that he is heartbroken by the statements of other people regarding his appearance noting that he only looked like that because he has been guarding his auto and his girlfriend for the past four days before the arrest and that he was just doing the best that he can to get to all his appearances so he drives all over the country.

Aaron added he hasn't been sleeping since the arrest, explaining how he's spent the last four days dealing with backlash from the public.

"I think there's too much animosity", Aaron explained to "Entertainment Tonight." "There's too much conflict of interest". "Family isn't always easy, be we're all here for you". And I will always have forgiveness in my heart for you. Carter was released on bail Sunday. Aaron said to "ET" in a newly released clip of his first interview since the incident.

Aaron also made a very direct statement. Madison was a passenger in the vehicle on Saturday and was arrested alongside Aaron for obstruction of law enforcement officers, possession of marijuana less than once ounce, and possession of drug related objects.

Aaron has since claimed he was "targeted" by police because of his fame after being arrested for a DUI Saturday night in Georgia. "Cause they gave up on me." .

ET has reached out to Nick's reps for comment. When I was 19 years old, I got an endoscopy done in Tennessee and I was diagnosed with a Hiatal Hernia.

Just like what a statement on his Twitter account said days ago, Carter said in his recent interview that he was not allowed to speak to his attorney, USA Today shared.

He continued: "Aaron holds a medical license for medical marijuana for his long standing anxiety".
