Tweet Suggests Fallout 4 VR Could Be Coming to Other Platforms

And now we have a release date for this standalone experience: November 17.

First in the schedule is Fallout 4 VR, arriving exclusively on HTC Vive on October 12.

Most recently, a new Doom VFR video was released, detailing numerous game's differences from the 2016 Doom title, including its core gameplay, environments, and plot. Make sure to take regular breaks if you want to keep your eyesight though. While that's debatable, the introduction of three of Bethesda's biggest games from the last decade could go a long way to scratching that high-end itch. Although releasing on the PlayStation platform initially, Bethesda has said that it will bring it to other headsets in the future. Though they were just revealed at E3 2017 back in June, rumors of a VR version of Fallout 4 had been making the rounds for months beforehand. The games previously had tentative release dates, but we now know all the details.

Guns. Demons. Speed. DOOM VFR takes the core elements that define DOOM and transports them to a whole new arena.

First off, Doom FVR will be available for purchase starting December 1 and it will be compatible with HTC Vive and PS VR.

Each game supports VR headsets and motion controllers - you'll literally throw fireballs in "Skyrim VR", for instance. "Fallout 4 VR" is scheduled to launch on December 12. The virtual reality version of Fallout 4 is a complete rebuild of the 2015 game. Fallout 4 VR is available for pre-order for $59.
