David Luiz 'broke wrist' against Arsenal

GK Petr Cech Makes the team due to his early years at Stamford Bridge where he was an imperious and truly intimidating figure between the sticks

Graeme Souness says David Luiz should have seen red earlier in Chelsea's 0-0 draw with Arsenal, while Thierry Henry agrees there was "no doubt" about his sending off.

Andreas Christensen is expected to replace Luiz in Conte's starting XI until the Brazil global is available again.

The suspension for Luiz's red card, dished out for a horror 87th minute lunge on Sead Kolasinac, will rule him out of domestic action until Chelsea play Crystal Palace on October 14.

Chelsea defender David Luiz reportedly suffered a broken wrist during Sunday's goalless draw with Arsenal.

Former Premier League referee Keith Hackett suggested in his Telegraph Sport column that Chelsea need to get in a representative from the Professional Game Match Officials Limited or David Ellery to talk to head coach Antonio Conte and his players.

The Italian said: 'Christensen is a very young player but I think he is a good player and I trust him.

"We have great respect for officials, but it is odd to finish a third game in a row against Arsenal with 10 men".

Arsene Wenger's side had lost both of their previous games on the road this season at Stoke and Liverpool, but might have picked up all three points at Stamford Bridge, as Aaron Ramsey struck the post in the first half and Shkodran Mustafi had a goal disallowed in the second.

Chelsea kicked off their Champions League campaign with a thumping 6-0 win over Qarabag last week at Stamford Bridge.
