Overwatch Halloween Terror 2017 Skins Leak; Event Launches Today

Overwatch characters

As we've mentioned, Blizzard re-introduced the Summer Games event earlier this year and based on that event we should have a decent understanding of how they might handle the reintroduction of the Halloween Terror event skins. Lastly, Eichenwald and Hollywood's stages have been renovated in a haunted flair for the holiday as bonus maps.

While there is a lot to unpack with the limited edition, I have to mention Zarya's new legendary skin in a total 80s inspired look.

Overwatch Halloween Terror 2017 launches on October 10th for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC. Players can now also see how long they can withstand the AI in Junkenstein's Endless mode.

On top of the new themed items, Blizzard is opening the vault on previous items too, giving players that chance to grab Halloween-themed items from a year ago!

Another in-game cosmetic that players will want to watch out for is the Van-Helsing like legendary skin for Mcree, which had already been unveiled and teased by Blizzard. All 2016's Halloween Terror items make their return, too, in case you missed them past year. According to the official event notes, the Junkenstein's Revenge will require three players, and all three have to fight together to defeat scary enemies which include the Witch of the Wilds, the Reaper, Summoner, Junkenstein's monsters, and Dr. Junkenstein itself.

Blizzard also points out that "New to the Arcade is Junkenstein's Revenge: Endless Night". In this mode, you can play as Ana, Genji, Hanzo, McCree, Soldier: 76, Torbjorn, Widowmaker, or Zenyatta in a team of four.

Survive for the longest period of time and earn a spot on the all-new leaderboard in Overwatch.

Things are getting real spooky in Overwatch, as today dawns the beginning of the second annual Overwatch Halloween Terror event.

Players have until November 01 to play this seasonal event and unlock its loot and stories.
