Lamar Jackson and Kentucky Player Spark Huge Louisville-Kentucky Fight

Kentucky quarterback Stephen Johnson will be among 25 seniors who will be honored prior to Saturday's home finale against rival Louisville in the Governor's Cup

Louisville quarterback Lamar Jackson is lucky he wasn't ejected early Saturday as the Cardinals took on the Kentucky Wildcats in Lexington. Though, in the future Jackson should be a bit more willing to walk away.

Senior running back Reggie Bonnafon rushed for two touchdowns for the Cardinals (8-4), who won their third straight game and fourth in the last five contests. He finished with 211 total yards on 29 carries, marking his seventh 100-yard game of the season. Unfortunately for United Kingdom, it wasn't enough to overcome the offensive attack Louisville poured on. In the first quarter, Jackson was tackled on UK's one-yard line, just short of a touchdown.

Their little exchange of pleasantries became a whole thing, with a group of Kentucky players piling on top of Jackson as he wrestled with Jones on the ground.

Officials penalized both schools for unsportsmanlike conduct.

Fights have broken out between these teams before.

.

Louisville scored several plays later for a 14-0 lead.

As a true sophomore, Snell will be back in 2018 and will be one of the SEC's best running backs. Louisville retook the Governor's Cup from United Kingdom, who took it in Louisville last season after a 41-38 win.
