We Finally Know When Prince Harry and Meghan Markle Are Getting Married

Meghan Markle Peace Out, 'Suits' ... I'm a Royal Now!!!

The American actress, 36, and Harry, 33, will tie the knot at St George's Chapel, Windsor Castle in May.

But the wedding venue will not come as a surprise for many, as St George's Chapel has seen the wedding of many a royal in the past.

Harry is far from the first royal to tie the knot at St. George's Chapel. At least three services take place there every day, and all are open to the public.

Details of the much-anticipated royal wedding of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have emerged, along with Meghan's plans to become a United Kingdom citizen and convert to the Anglican faith.

Although Meghan has been married before the Church of England permits divorcees to remarry with a religious ceremony.

Of course, a royal engagement means a royal wedding is in our future-and if Prince William and Kate Middleton's nuptials from 2011 are any indication, we're in for a no-expense-spared extravaganza. His uncle, Prince Edward, married Sophie Rhys-Jones at the chapel in 1999, while his first cousin, Peter Phillips Wednesday his wife Autumn Kelly there in 2008.

The last wedding held there was the union of Harry's father and Camilla Parker Bowles in 2005, where they received a blessing from The Archbishop of Canterbury.

The space is much smaller than Westminster Abbey, holding around 800 people compared to the Abbey's whopping 2,000, The Guardian reports.

The couple announced their engagement on Monday night, later revealing Harry proposed to Meghan while they were preparing a roast chicken dinner at his Kensington Palace apartments.

The statement added: "This wedding, like all weddings, will be a moment of fun and joy that will reflect the characters of the Bride and Groom".

Prince Harry and his fiancee also hope to allow members of the public to feel part of the celebrations and are considering how to make that happen.
