Netflix has officially renewed 'Stranger Things' for a third season

"So hold tight baby darts - season three is officially happening".

For now, at least, it should be enough to know that season 3 is in the works.

Netflix announced today its plans to renew the hit Stranger Things for a third season. Speaking to Vulture, Ross Duffer said: "We're thinking it will be a four-season thing and then out". Here are 7 of those items.

"The hardest thing with this story is that we were tracking these multiple storylines and having them sort of build about at the same pace as to crescendo at the same time". But, what about his dad? It's best for a show to not wear out its welcome by staying past its expiration date. It's always the hardest part as we move into writing.

Although wary of her at first, the other boys warmed to her towards the end of season one when she saved Mike from death after he jumped off a cliff at the demands of cruel school bullies.

Netflix confirmed on Friday 1 December that there would indeed be a new season for fans of the drama.

This image may trigger certain sects of Stranger Things 2 fans. The good news is that a Season 3 is coming, but, of course, we're going to have to wait a little while for it. People have been saying that they love my character more. "We're trying to figure out still how long it'll take to get there, so we'll see".

"We have an end game", Ross said. They also revealed that there will likely be a fourth season that will probably be the show's last. Season three of Stranger Things is officially a go.
