The Prince and the former president have enjoyed a relaxed, public friendship for years after becoming acquainted during the first Invictus Games in 2014.

Prince Harry has recorded a laugh-filled feature-length interview with former U.S. president Barack Obama for BBC Radio 4's Today programme. A segment of their chat will be broadcast on BBC Radio 4 on December 27th, and the full interview will go up later as a podcast.

Prince Harry has interviewed Barack Obama and this clip of the duo in the sound studio shows us exactly what their relationship is like.

Mr Obama even asked Harry if he should put on a British accent for the radio slot.

Without missing a beat, Harry responds "not at all" before warning the former commander-in-chief that he'll get "the face" if there are any long pauses between answers.

They will also talk about Obama's foundation which focuses on inspiring and empowering people to change their world.

Harry said: "You're excited about this".

In the interview, scheduled to be released later this month, questioned Mr Obama about his memories of the day he left office and his post-presidential work with the Obama Foundation, according to Kensington Palace. "I'd much prefer that", Prince Harry said before chuckling.

But Harry was not keen and said: "No, no, let's keep it this way".

Kensington Palace released a video of Obama and the prince joking around prior to the discussion.
