Ronda Rousey Is Reportedly About To Finalise A Deal With The WWE

The people requested anonymity because the switch has not been announced.

"I love Ronda, and anything she can do to make money for her and her new husband then I am rooting for her", said longtime friend Gene Le Bell told the site in response to the reports. That left some to suspect that she could participate in Wrestlemania 34 set for New Orleans on April 8. And a match against the WWE's version of the Four Horsewomen - Charlotte Flair, Bayley, Sasha Banks, and Becky Lynch - has been strongly teased.

"I wouldn't want to see it".

This summer, the rumors began to fly that Rousey will be taking her talents to WWE following her MMA career.

Rousey was a dominant force in MMA for years and maybe the most popular and well-known fighter on either the male or female side of the sport.

Either way, wrestling - which is already the greatest thing in the world - just got a hell of a lot more intriguing.

"I'm excited to have the conversation with her and see where it goes".

Rousey was ostensibly there to cheer for her friend Shayna Baszler, a former UFC fighter competing in the tournament, but she wound up in a WWE segment that was shown in September. Sources close to the ex-UFC Women's Bantamweight champ revealed she is now undergoing the formalities of finalising the switch to the sports entertainment giants. Once the UFC added women's fighting the whole thing became more professional. "She showed us what was possible for women and she showed what sort of level you have to be at to fight against the best and to be the best".

Rousey started her career 12-0, becoming arguably the sports biggest star thanks to her dominance.

My take? Put her in the ring with Asuka in a worked-shoot fight and let 'em kick the piss out of each other.

In regards to Rousey's first match with the company, there have been various rumors floating around in regards to who she could face.
