Roy Moore: 'I Never Molested Anyone'

Fairhope Alabama. Mr. Moore is facing off against Democrat Doug Jones in next week's special election for

Alabama Sen. Richard Shelby says he chose to cast a write-in ballot in the state's upcoming Senate election because of allegations that GOP nominee Roy Moore molested a girl when she was 14.

He said Doug Jones will be "completely controlled" by the Democrats and declared that they need someone in that Senate seat who will support his agenda.

"Judge Moore's going to go to Washington, Judge Moore is going to win, and I highly doubt there's going to be a Senate investigation", Young told ABC's Martha Raddatz on Sunday. Mr. Trump has thrown his full support behind Moore, insisting the country can't afford to have a Democrat in the Senate. At that time, according to Nelson, Moore was pursuing a sexual relationship with her and had groped and tried to rape her. Nelson's attorney, Gloria Allred, had incorrectly attributed the notes to Moore when she and Nelson revealed the yearbook page at a press conference last month. "Jones will always vote against what we must do for our Country". Do you know the yearbook?

African-Americans make up about 25 percent of eligible voters, though Democratic pollster Zac McCrary said Jones needs black voters to comprise 27 percent or more of those who show up at the polls on Tuesday. Trump asked rally-goers, referencing accuser Beverly Nelson's admission that she added words to a yearbook inscription she said Moore wrote. Nor apparently does backing a Senate candidate accused by multiple women of sexual misconduct.

"We can not afford, the future of this country can not afford to lose the seat", Mr Trump said, referring to his party's razor-thin 52-48 advantage in that chamber of Congress.

"I did not know them", Moore said of the women who have accused him.

It isn't clear that his sins rose to the level of those Moore is accused of but their swift dispatching of him is meant to give them the high ground in battling the Republicans, particularly in next year's midterm congressional elections.

"I think it's going to be very hard for somebody to beat us in a few years", Trump said, pointing to the impact on 401 (k) investments.

A large number of Alabama residents were in the audience at Trump's rally at the packed Pensacola Bay Center.

"We can not afford, the future of this country can not afford to lose the seat", Trump said referring to his party's narrow 52-48 advantage in the Senate.

Steve Bannon, former chief White House strategist and ardent Moore supporter, presents the election as a choice between Trump and his 2016 presidential election rival Hillary Clinton. We want to know whether it is really possible for a state that calls itself not just conservative, but conservative in the evangelical tradition, to vote for a man like Moore?

Republicans hold a 52-48 majority in the Senate. A deep-red state, Alabama went to Trump a year ago by a margin of 24 points. Luther Strange, who lost the GOP runoff election to Moore.

"You don't even want to say people", Mr Trump said.

"We're the big piggy bank that everybody likes to rob", said Trump. If there was truth in them, he should withdraw, he said.
