TIDAL free trial for Christmas needs no credit card

Tidal may be going through a hard time but the streaming music service hopes to win over some new users this Christmas. The trial includes Tidal's full library of music, and you don't have to enter a credit card to get access, so there's no risk of you forgetting to cancel after the 12 days and getting stuck with an unexpected bill.

All users will have access to Tidal HiFi for lossless high fidelity streaming, and during this 12-day promotion, Tidal says it'll be launching new original music videos, documentaries, and interviews.

The Premium option costs $9.99 per month and offers audio quality comparable to the other music streaming services out there. TIDAL is available in more than 52 countries, with more than a 52 million song catalog and 199,000 high quality videos.

Although there has been recent news about TIDAL's troubles, it appears the streaming service is still making a push to stand firm in the crowded marketplace. Like other music streaming services, there are family, student, and military plans for both Premium and Hi-Fi accounts, so you don't have to worry about missing out on those special discounts if you're moving from another streaming service.

Tidal also leans heavily on providing high-resolution music videos as well as audio, and boasts in its Play Store listing that users can now "stream exclusive music videos and concerts in stunning HD".
