U.S. President Donald Trump said he had not meant to cause offence in Britain by and that he would apologize if such people were terrible racists.

Mr Trump made the apology during a TV interview with Good Morning Britain presenter Piers Morgan.

In an interview with Piers Morgan - who is friends with the president - Trump said he did not want to cause "any difficulty" for the United Kingdom but stopped short of directly saying sorry.

Trump feigned ignorance: "Of course I didn't know that". The real me is someone who loves Britain, loves the UK. Now, consider Trump's response in 2016 to being asked to publicly condemn the KKK and Duke, after the latter endorsed his presidential bid: "I don't know anything about David Duke". He also claimed that the retweets were not a "big story" in the US, despite the fact that major American news outlets covered the retweets and May's concern that Trump would boost the far-right British group. "But you're telling me about these people 'cause I know nothing about these people".

"Radical Islamic terror, whether you like talking about it or not, you look at what's going on in the United Kingdom, you look at what's going on all over the world", he said. Fransen claimed the videos showed an Islamist gang beating a teenage boy to death, a Muslim destroying a Christian statue, and a Muslim migrant beating a Dutch boy on crutches. I don't say anything because I don't care.

Piers Morgan has managed to nab a world exclusive interview with US President Donald Trump.

Trump's decision to retweet the videos sparked harsh criticism from people across the world - and, despite Trump's perceptions, was a big story in the U.S.as well as worldwide.

"Then here's what's fair", Trump responded. I don't care. It's just one of those things'. I don't say anything. In it, Trump said he had grabbed women "by the pussy", and kissed them against their will.

Late last November White House press secretary Sarah Sanders said that the president doesn't check everything that he tweets but that he "knew what the issues are". The prime minister's office has said the visit is likely to come in the latter half of 2018.

During their 40-minute meeting in Davos, Mrs May also raised the issue of aircraft manufacturer Bombardier, which has a major plant in Northern Ireland and is at the centre of a USA trade dispute. The full interview will be broadcast Sunday, January 28.
