February's Games with Gold include Shadow Warrior and Assassin's Creed Chronicles

Microsoft announces expansion of Montreal AI research lab

But Xbox head Phil Spencer earlier this week announced that all new Xbox One exclusive games published by Microsoft Studios would be available to Game Pass subscribers on the day of launch.

Xbox's Larry Hryb has revealed which four games will be joining the Games with Gold program in February. The other Xbox One title for the month is Assassin's Creed Chronicles: India, the downloadable spinoff starring Arbaaz Mir that was released in January 2016. From their point of view, it's pointless to sell Xbox products because their new Game Pass announcement will cut into software sales.

Split/Second will be available from February 1 to 15, Assassin's Creed Chronicles and Crazy Taxi will be available on February 16, and Shadow Warrior can be downloaded all month long. For the remainder of February players can get their hands on the race against time classic hit, Crazy Taxi. It was rebooted for the console in 2013. If Duke Nukem's dedication to dick-and-fart jokes was your thing, you'll probably love Shadow Warrior. It's a 2-D gameplay to supplement the "Assassin's Creed" franchise and it also makes for a fun and educational history lesson. They feel this new move gives them no profit of their own and it just costs more money for them to stock Xbox consoles.

It would improve on the current Xbox Games Pass lineup, which leans heavily on older titles. They have de-listed everything related to Xbox on their website.
