Actor Sridevi Dies At Age 54

Bollywood Legendary Actress Sridevi is no more, The actress passed away after a massive cardiac arrest in Dubai. The news has been confirmed by her brother-in-law Sanjay Kapoor.

The family were in UAE to attend the wedding ceremony of Mohit Marwah, when the actress was reportedly taken ill.

55-year-old Sridevi will be survived by her daughters Janvi and Kushi Kapoor along with husband Boney Kapoor in case if this news is true.

While we haven't been able to gather more details, the actress suffered a cardiac arrest and succumbed before any medical treatment could have helped.

She died at an age of 54.

After a long break, she returned to Hindi movies strongly with an exceptional character in English Vinglish in 2012.

Her performance as a mentally unstable woman in Moondram Pirai won her accolades and is still talked about as among her career best. However, yet others claim that it was a serious head trauma that claimed her life. She fell in love with the much married producer Boney Kapoor, giving ample fodder for the gossip mills.

Her most recent role came in the 2017 thriller, Mom. She also continued to be a part of films down South and has also acted in some Malayalam and Kannada films.
