Justin Timberlake received the ire of the Internet when it was announced he'd be performing at the Super Bowl Halftime show.

"I'm excited to do that", Timberlake said during today's Super Bowl LII Halftime Show press conference, according to CBS Sports. And this Sunday, Justin Timberlake will perform for the third time at the Super Bowl. Timberlake quickly made it clear that he would not be letting his two-year-old play America's most popular sport on any level, saying, "Uh, he will never play football". "If he wants to get into the arts or sports, yeah, I will fully support him and offer advice". He was not asked about the incident during the press availability.

Check out SportsLine's look at the top 10 craziest prop bets for Super Bowl Sunday. The former member of boy band NSYNC has a new album released this week.

The singer denied that he'd be bringing any special guests with him on stage during a press conference earlier this week, after speculation that he'd be reuniting with either Jackson or his 'N Sync bandmates. ("I gotta tour in Philly", he said.) But, trust us, Timberlake is all about Brady and the Pats. So he's got that going for him. But when asked if he was rooting for the Patriots or the Philadelphia Eagles, he punted: "Go, Pack, go", he said, referencing the Green Bay Packers, who didn't make the playoffs at all.

"I get to walk the hallowed sacred ground of Paisley Park tonight and get to play my new album", Justin gushed, "That didn't even seem like a possibility to me a year ago". The PTC said it hopes Timberlake won't repeat events that occurred in 2004 when Timberlake contributed to Janet Jackson's infamous "wardrobe malfunction".

Especially after Timberlake joked that he would be available to fill-in at receiver if the Pats ran into any more injury problems at the position. He said while he does share a bromance with the quarterback, "nothing could ever come between Jimmy and I", referring to another one of his pals, "Tonight Show" host Jimmy Fallon.

The Parents Television Council published an open letter to Timberlake yesterday asking the 10-times Grammy victor to keep his performance, which is estimated to draw more than 100 million viewers, friendly and safe for children.
