Night club's license revoked after horse stunt

A woman in her underwear arriving on a white horse at a packed nightclub - and being greeted by flashing cameras - didn't go over well with Miami Beach authorities.

The horse bucked, causing the woman to fall off.

'Last night MBPD was made aware of the alleged incident at Mokai, ' Officer Ernesto Rodriguez, a spokesperson for the department, told the Miami New Times. "They brought a real horse in the club! We are very concerned over the allegations", police tweeted.

Florida International University graduate Leeza Marie Juelle helped spread the video after she saw it on a friend's page, she says.

Due to the acts by Mokai Lounge and their violations of the City Code, the City Manager Morales ordered the immediate revocation of their business license effective immediately. Facebook user Castiana Johnson called the move "beyond irresponsible", adding that the incident shows "clear animal abuse and cruelty".

"What kind of idiot would do something like to this to an animal?" said Miami Beach mayor Dan Gelber at a press conference earlier today. The video may be disturbing to some viewers. Miami Beach Police posted the video a href="https://twitter.com/MiamiBeachPD" on their Twitter /a feed in hopes of gathering more information from witnesses.
