Watch Chadwick Boseman Host "Saturday Night Live"

Boseman and Leslie Jones in a promo for Saturday Night Live

T'Challa (Chadwick Boseman) has some different thoughts on traditional Black Jeopardy questions in a sketch from April 7th's episode of Saturday Night Live. "That's because I play a world leader in the movie, they think I want to play the leader of the free world, but who wants that job?"

When SNL announced that Chadwick Boseman would be hosting, it honestly seemed like a toss-up whether or not they could make Black Panther amusing.

"Black Panther" is a bona fide global sensation, busting through box office records and becoming an worldwide phenomenon.

Thompson: The policeman says there's been some robberies in your neighborhood and asks if you have "any information."
But T'Challa, being from the utopian Wakanda, seems completely unaware of why someone would pretend to be dead to escape student loans, or the suspicion with which black people, for obvious reasons, must treat law enforcement. After getting a few answers wrong and watching Shanice and Rashad answer correctly, T'Challa finally felt ready to answer and selected the category "White People" for $400, resulting in a hilarious exchange between T'Challa and Hayes.

Of course, T'Challa gets the answer right. She has her own recipe for potato salad? "This woman, she is Caucasian, eh?" And if she does, it is only with a tiny bit of salt, and no paprika.

'So something tells me that I should say 'Ah hell naw Karen, keep your bland-ass potato salad to yourself'.

The sketch immediately got rave reviews and dominated the "SNL"-related chatter on Twitter".

In his opening monologue, naturally, there was no escaping "Black Panther" as he joked about having to wait two months to host the show after the debut of the year's biggest film.
