Actress Heather Locklear arrested again in Ventura County

Heather Locklear arrested again for battery of a police officer EMT

Locklear was arrested in a similar situation in February, when she was charged with misdemeanor battery on an officer.

The former Melrose Place actress was reportedly taken into custody on Sunday night just before midnight, according to TMZ.

Officers arrived at Locklear's home after 11 p.m. and found her "extremely intoxicated" and arguing with family and friends, a watch commander at the Ventura County Sherriff's Office told E!

The Daily Mail published photos of Locklear, 56, leaving the facility at 9:10 a.m.in a gray hoodie, plaid flannel pajama trousers and flip-flops after her attorney, William Haney, posted her $20,000 bail.

Locklear was placed on an involuntary 5150 psych hold last week by her parents after she reportedly assaulted them.

This is her second arrest for battery of deputies.

According to the dispatch audio, the original 911 call was a hangup, but the dispatcher could hear a female cursing in the background of the call.

Locklear was booked on a count of battery on an officer, and emergency personnel. A family member called for help concerning a domestic disturbance, and things got tricky according to TMZ after Heather lashed out.

"This has been a long time downward spiral for her, that has been painful for everyone to witness", the source says. The actress sought treatment shortly after her arrest. She could not be reached for comment as of press time.

The latest news comes after it was reported that the star was undergoing a psych evaluation after allegedly threatening to take her own life. During their examination, police said she kicked the EMT assisting her.
