Here are the highlights from EA's press conference at E3.
Developer BioWare went in depth on its upcoming multiplayer role-playing adventure Anthem today as part of its EA Play media presentation today. The World War II-based game is set for a release on 19 October, however, the premium edition will launch three days before on 16 October.
It's getting a battle royale mode, people.
"We really want players to express themselves, both through customizing the way their Javelin plays through gear and weapons, but also being able to personalize the way that it looks - both through paint jobs as well as changing the actual geometry of the suit itself".
EA's Live Show might not be open to the public, but it's hosting a Player Fan Fest at the Hollywood Palladium on June 9-11.
Arguably one of the most popular games on this planet, the Federation Internationale de Football Association franchise continues with the latest edition called Federation Internationale de Football Association 19. Also, there will be no ability to pay to increase your character's power. The team will do this by continuously adding new stories missions and locations to the game after launch.
Battlefield 5 will be another big game featured during EA Play, whiel Respawn Entertainment have also teased that one of their new projects will be teased during the show. Federation Internationale de Football Association 19 will release worldwide on all platforms on 28 September 2018.
They will also get early access to Madden 19, Federation Internationale de Football Association 19, Battlefield V and Anthem.
After the severe criticism EA received for Battlefront 2 a year ago, this time around the company has vowed to change the game.
For Star Wars Battlefront 2, the game will feature a new squad system, as well as a starfighter mode, soon. So, we can be sure there will be add-on content down the line for the game.
BioWarewent into a deep-dive for Anthem, explaining how the game will work. Four player online co-op will be supported in the game. Put on your Javelin suit, boost out into the wilderness, and you can team up with other players again. (The moral here is to always finish what you started.) Humanity has managed to survive by constructing exosuits called "Javelins", and a group of Javelin users - called "Freelancers" - fight against bad humans (the "Dominion") who seek to control the Anthem and use it for nefarious schemes. The company behind games like Battlefield, Titanfall and the most recent Star Wars games is hosting its own event in Hollywood this weekend called EA Play. Anthem will, at least for now, release on February 22nd, 2019.
