Serena Williams Claims "Discrimination" After Another Drug Test

After Serena Williams complained about the frequency of anti-doping tests, comments have flooded social media with some internet users even suggesting that doping officers are trying to steal the prominent U.S. tennis player's DNA.

This would mark the sixth time she has been drug tested this year, and comes just weeks after Deadspin found that she is the most-tested tennis player. Discrimination? I think so.

Williams, a 23-time Grand Slam champion, says she is "ready to do whatever it takes to have a clean sport", but she's clearly fed up and has accused anti-doping authorities of "discrimination". One time she told me, 'If you take your opportunities, more will come'.

Ending the tweet, she states that she has nothing to hide.

"Until I read that article I didn't realise it was such a discrepancy with me as well as against the other players that they listed, at least the American players - both male and female". "Just test everyone equally", Williams said on the eve of this year's Wimbledon, according to ESPN.

Venus is now ranked World No.14, and is a five-time Wimbledon champion as well as twice victor of the US Open.

Some people who left comments on William's Twitter page claimed she exaggerated the story, insisting that all the world leading athletes should be tested more frequently than their less decorated counterparts. She already has the most major trophies in the professional era.

"Tennis has given me so much". I feel like equality, that's all I've been preaching.

"It's just about being equal and not centring one person out". She gave birth to a daughter last September.

After being forced to withdraw from the French Open due to an injury, Williams went all the way to the Wimbledon finals this year, where she eventually lost to Angelique Kerber.

She said: "How is it I'm getting tested five times in June?"

She is scheduled to play in the Rogers Cup in Montreal, which will start on August 3.
