Trump campaign takes legal action against ex-aide Omarosa

President Donald Trump has already branded Omarosa Manigault Newman a

Trump on Monday denied the existence of any tape from "The Apprentice" in which he used the racial epithet, citing the show's former producer, Mark Burnett.

"I'm not going to be bullied by Donald Trump", she says.

Donald Trump has hit out at ex-Apprentice contestant and former political aide Omarose Manigault-Newman a "dog" in a scathing Twitter attack on Tuesday afternoon. "She begged me for a job, tears in her eyes, I said Ok".

Responding on NBC, Manigault Newman said, "I think it's sad that with all the things that's going on in the country that he would take time out to insult me and to insult my intelligence".

On the tape, a person whom Manigault Newman identifies as Pierson is heard saying: "I'm trying to find out at least the context it was used in to help us figure out a way to spin it".

The dispute has been building for days as Manigault Newman promotes her memoir "Unhinged", which comes out officially Tuesday.

But Manigault Newman continued to unleash scathing criticism of Trump, saying he's unfit to be president.

The action, which the campaign said was filed in NY, comes amid a publicity tour by Manigault Newman to promote her book, Unhinged, which portrays Trump as bigoted and racist and questions his mental capacity. Already she's released a recording of a phone call she got from Trump after she was sacked in December, in which Trump played dumb about it.

The president's former TV co-star on The Apprentice also said she has heard audio tape of Trump using the N-word. "You can't hire people to work in the most powerful office in the world paid by taxpayers, and then when they turn on you say 'That person's a insane liar, no one should trust them, '" he said. The president tweeted praise for Chief of Staff John F. Kelly "for quickly firing that dog".

The official added, "President Trump is well known for giving people opportunities to advance in their careers and lives over the decades, but wrong is wrong, and a direct violation of an agreement must be addressed and the violator must be held accountable", added the official.

According to Manigault Newman, a tape exists where Trump used the N-word while starring on the NBC reality show "The Apprentice".

"He's not only exhibiting the same kinds of characteristics, but he praises them and he gives them the power and emboldens them to mimic what he does and what he tweets out everyday", she said.

Manigault Newman's attorney, John Phillips, said he had not yet seen the Trump campaign's arbitration action. The former reality television star was the highest-ranking black employee in the White House.

Yes, we've caught you up with everything you need to know about Omarosa, but we also thought we'd take a look back at her big day.

Now that Trump finds himself at the receiving end of Omarosa's blade, he doesn't seem to think she's so "honest".

Lotter said he had a "fine relationship" with Manigault Newman during her tenure at the White House, and said he isn't aware of any recordings of the Vice President.

"Absolutely", she said, without elaborating. Trump was obsessed with leaks to the news media and repeatedly demanded that McGahn draft the agreement, the aides said.
