Pune: India skipper Virat Kohli's 38th ODI ton went in vain as a disciplined West Indies came back strongly to win the third One-day global by 43 runs at the Maharashtra Cricket Association Stadium here on Saturday. Since then, he travelled to England as part of the T20I squads, although he got a chance to bat in only one of the three matches.

Ambati Rayudu, M.S. Dhoni (wk), Rishabh Pant, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Kuldeep Yadav, Jasprit Bumrah, K Khaleel Ahmed, Yuzvendra Chahal. It was a performance that earned him a man of the match award.

The only T20 internationals left in the next six months is a three-game series against New Zealand, which is scheduled in February. Definitely, we have to take the wins and losses in our way. He looked in good rhythm and it never looked that he was away from the game.

Another significant comeback in the Test side is Parthiv Patel as the second wicket-keeper alongside Pant. He played the Duleep Trophy and whatever matches that happened, he batted well.

Shahbaz Nadeem has named in the squad to face West Indies at home in the three T20Is.

Batsman Kedar Jadhav, whose omission from ODIs came under the scanner, has been brought back for the fourth and fifth ODI. Both the sides will be eying to register a victory as team India wants to propel the lead to 2-0, while Windies will be hoping to level the series.

Kohli was the top-scorer for India as he smashed his 38th ODI hundred and third successive in the series to become the first Indian to achieve the feat.

The rest of the Indian batsmen failed miserably tonight with only Shikhar Dhawan (35) managing a score of over 30 after Kohli.

Holder bowled opener Rohit Sharma for eight and later got Mahendra Singh Dhoni caught behind for seven as India slipped to 215-6.
