Piers Morgan shames Daniel Craig for wearing baby ‘papoose’

Daniel Craig in 2015

"Any man who wastes time quantifying masculinity is terrified on the inside", Evans responded on Twitter.

Morgan, who is the father of four kids of his own ranging in age from 6 to 25, didn't back down, however, in his response to Evans, stating simply, "Captain America wouldn't wear a papoose".

British media personality Piers Morgan was hit with a pie in the face on live TV after mocking James Bond actor Daniel Craig for carrying his daughter around in a front pack.

Morgan did find one exception to his baby-wearing rule, though, noting that UFC fighters could do whatever they wanted-however he made the exception exclusively on "self-preservation grounds".

Several other people chimed in with nods of disapproval toward Morgan, as did many men who shared photos of themselves wearing their babies in a carrier.

A child carrier, sometimes called a papoose, allows parents to walk with their children strapped to their bodies.

Morgan had been criticised earlier in the show by the Good Morning crew for claiming "no woman ever fancies a man again when they wear a papoose".

"There is nothing more masculine than a Father taking an active role in nurturing and looking after his child", another user wrote.

"It's really good for babies".

Craig and his wife Rachel Weisz welcomed their first child together in September and it appears that the actor has taken to parenting like James Bond to a tux.

And if Morgan is this upset by men using carriers for their children, no one tell him about the increasing demand to have diaper-changing stations in men's rooms. Then came the unsolicited commentary from Morgan, who said wearing a baby carrier is emasculating.
