Warriors Player: 'No Way' Kevin Durant Re-Signs With Warriors

On Monday night, the Warriors suffered a 121-116 loss to the Clippers in overtime, but that loss has hardly been front and center in the National Basketball Association during the two days since.

Draymond Green didn't expect to be suspended.

Durant was furious Green didn't pass to him, and Green wasn't pleased with the tone and confrontation.

As he dribbled over the half court line, it became clear that Green had no real plan on what he was going to do with the ball.

Clearly KD was furious, and his agitation only intensified after Green went at him on the sidelines.

As both players returned to the Warriors bench, they continued a war of words which turned ugly with Green shouting profanities towards his team-mate.

According to some publications, Durant has well and truly made up his mind for next season, determined to leave the stacked Warriors roster and chase more scoring opportunities elsewhere.

An unnamed Golden State Warriors player tells The Athletic's Marcus Thompson II that he doesn't think Durant will re-sign with the team now. Even still, it's no better than anyone's guess at this point what exactly Durant said.

"With what was said, there is already no way Durant is coming back", one player said. "The only hope is that they can say this summer, 'See, KD". The Warriors did not score and Los Angeles won 121-116 in overtime. "We've got a long season ahead".

Some teammates reportedly confronted Green in the locker room for his decision-making on the play, and the following day Green received a one-game suspension without pay from the team for "conduct detrimental to the team". "We protected you from Draymond'".

Durant's impending free agency heightens the sensitivity of the turmoil.

Durant scored 29 points in the win over Atlanta.
