Chiefs' Kareem Hunt sent home after assault video release

Should the Texans look into signing ex Chiefs RB Kareem Hunt

Hunt pushed the woman, 19, at an OH hotel in a February 2018 incident that was just made public.

The video begins with Hunt arguing with a 19-year-old woman outside of his hotel room. An unidentified male steps in, and the woman proceeds to hit Hunt in the face.

As friends try to hold him back, the 2017 Pro Bowler - who led the league in rushing yards - explodes and knocks one of his friends into the woman ... who both go flying into a wall. In perhaps the most appealing moment, Hunt kicks the woman as she's crouching on the ground. According to TMZ, police responded to the scene, but no one was ever arrested and no charges were filed.

The Kansas City Chiefs are taking the right steps in dealing with this Kareem Hunt fiasco, which reportedly blindsided the team despite management having known about the incident and allegations against their star running back since February.

In August 2018, Hunt spoke of the reports and in another incident where he was accused of punching a man.

Abigail Ottinger, 19, claimed she was "pushed and shoved" during a dispute in Cleveland, alleging to police that the Chiefs running back assaulted her around 3:45 a.m. on a Saturday outside his hotel apartment, according to Cleveland.com. She told police that she wouldn't have sex with one of the men with Hunt, while they said she called him the N-word after being asked to leave Hunt's hotel room.

Through body-cam footage obtained by TMZ, the woman and witnesses gave differing accounts of what escalated the incident. TMZ reports that prosecutors had access to the hotel surveillance video.

The NFL has yet to comment on the incident.

"I've learned from it and I'm focused on football", Kareem told reporters.
