Trump scraps planned meeting with Putin at G20 summit

The White House said Trump had made a decision to cancel the get-together following a meeting with his top foreign policy advisers after boarding Air Force One, even though no new information had publicly emerged.

The ongoing conflict between Russia and Ukraine may cause the global community to react and affect the expected meeting between Russian President Vladimir Putin and his United States counterpart during the G20 summit in Argentina, experts said.

"I look forward to a meaningful Summit again as soon as this situation is resolved!" he added. "I think it´s a very good time to have the meeting", he had said. On Thursday President Trump called Cohen a "liar", which is demonstrably true.

"Maybe I won't have the meeting". The Putin meeting - a continuation of a controversial summit between the two in July - was just one of a series of high-stakes items on Trump's agenda, which also includes talks with Chinese President Xi Jinping on how to ease a rising trade war.

In the Kremlin has accepted with regret the decision of the American President Donald trump to cancel a meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin on the sidelines of the summit of "Big twenty" for the aggression in the sea of Azov. Kiev has accused Moscow of militarizing the area and of harassment, while the Kremlin has said it is defending its territory and guarding against threats.

Trump said this week that as a result of Russia's armed seizure of three Ukrainian ships, he was considering pulling out of the one-on-one talks with Putin.

After warning of the threat of "full-scale war", Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko on Wednesday signed an act imposing martial law for 30 days in regions bordering Russian Federation, the Black Sea and the Sea of Azov. She was expected to arrive late to the summit, and the meeting did not appear on Trump's schedule for Friday.

However, because Mr Putin's net worth is unknown, whether he is wealthier than President Trump is also not known.

Kiev is banking on its Western allies to provide military support to contain Russian Federation, which it says is preparing to invade its territory by land. "Crimea, Donbass, the whole country".

Relations between Washington and Moscow have been badly strained since Russia's annexation of Crimea from Ukraine in 2014.

While no official sit-down is scheduled, Trump has kept the door open to a casual meeting.

When Joy Behar started to argue, Meghan McCain backed Huntsman up by pointing out that the past three USA presidents have had fairly positive relationships with Putin.

As he left the White House about 40 minutes earlier, Mr. Trump said he wanted to read the final report during the flight about the incident.

"We condemn this demonstration of barbarism and are multiplying our efforts to bring our boys home", Ukrainian Prime Minister Volodymyr Groysman said on Twitter after the court rulings.
