DeSean Jackson posts farewell message to Buccaneers fans

Details on how much guaranteed money De Sean Jackson will get in restructured deal with Eagles

Jackson, 29, wasn't expected to be on the market long as he still looks to be a top-5 three-technique pass rusher in the league in the interior.

Derrick Gunn of NBC Sports Philadelphia reports the Eagles are sending the Buccaneers a 2019 sixth-round pick and a 2020 seventh-round pick.

Jackson was released in 2014 following an NJ Advance Media report about the wide receiver's off-the-field issues. But general manager Jason Licht, when asked about Jackson, said, "I'd say all options are on the table", while also praising his speed.

According to ESPN's Josina Anderson from December, Jackson grew unhappy in Tampa Bay after a heated exchange with then-head coach Dirk Koetter over Jackson not practicing because of a hand injury. At the Super Bowl in Atlanta, he talked about wanting to play for the Los Angeles Rams. He signed a big free-agent deal with the Jaguars entering the 2016 season and was very productive for.

Jackson was slated to make $10 million this year but, per ESPN, will now get a three-year deal worth $27 million, including $13 million guaranteed.

But Jackson said he had trouble adjusting to his role as the No. 2 receiver behind Mike Evans, who already had a connection with quarterback Jameis Winston.

Jackson is one of the best deep-threats in the NFL.

Jackson posted the above farewell to Tampa Bay around 1 p.m. Monday.
